Job summary

Emiratespanel in Dubai seeks a cost control and planning professional to support budgets and project accounting, develop monthly forecasts, and ensure expenditures stay within the project budget.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent, at least 3 years of cost control and planning experience, and familiarity with MS Project or Primavera P6. This is a full-time on-site position in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience working in cost control & planning; MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and cost-controlling support for all projects.
• Develop and maintain budgets for a project.
• Control and monitor project total expenditure.
• Review cost estimates and suggest budgets or procurement strategies.
• Manage project accounting databases for security and control.
• Prepare monthly project forecasts based on ongoing activities.
• Produce costing-related reports for monthly review by team and management.
• Support accounts receivable during billing processing and monitor unbilled issues.
• Protect company interests when dealing with third parties.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Provide planning and cost-controlling support for all projects.
• Perform tasks required to develop and maintain budgets for a project.
• Control and monitor project total expenditure.
• Review cost estimates and make recommendations for future budgets or procurement strategies.
• Manage project accounting databases to ensure timely security and control.
• Prepare monthly project forecasts based on extensive knowledge of ongoing project activities.
• Perform project costing-related reporting to the team and managements review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Support accounts receivable as required during the billing processing. Monitor billing status and unbilled issues.
• Maintain the company's interests and objectives when dealing with third parties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Years of Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience working in cost control & planning.
• MS project or Primavera P6 software is preferred
