Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Cost Accountant to join the Inventory Control Team. The role focuses on tracking inventory transactions, posting accurate journal entries, and performing cost variance analyses to support budgeting and forecasting.

You will work with the receiving, stores, procurement, and F&B teams to align costing practices, while ensuring compliance with internal controls and UAE regulations. Strong Excel skills and fluency in English are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in cost accounting or inventory control in hospitality or high‑volume inventory environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; certification in inventory or cost accounting is a plus
• Proficiency in ERP and inventory systems (e.g., Oracle, Birch Street)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience in managing ledgers, inventory costing, variance reporting, and reconciliation
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic or other languages are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Ensure journal entries and general ledger entries are posted correctly
• Perform cost variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate costing records for all inventory items
• Prepare daily and monthly inventory and cost reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to inventory control operations
• Assist in preparing accruals and reconciliations for inventory accounts
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and UAE financial regulations
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analysis
• Implement cost control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency
• Work closely with receiving, stores, procurement, and F&B teams to align costing practices
• Assist in recipe costing and yield testing for items stored or processed on property
• Provide financial reports to support management in operational decision-making

About Wynn Al Marjan Island:

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. About The Position
