Job description

We are currently looking for a PMC Corrosion Engineer to be based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement corrosion management strategies to prevent, monitor, and control corrosion in pipelines, storage tanks, vessels, and other equipment.
  2. Conduct corrosion risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  3. Utilize cathodic protection, coatings, corrosion inhibitors, and material selection to enhance asset integrity.
  4. Design and conduct corrosion inspections using techniques like visual inspections, ultrasonic testing (UT), eddy current testing, and advanced techniques like phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT).
  5. Implement corrosion monitoring programs, including corrosion coupons, probes, and automated monitoring systems.
  6. Ensure the timely and accurate execution of routine inspections and the assessment of corrosion damage.
Qualifications / Experience (Skills)
  1. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  2. Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 5 years in a similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
  3. Experience with major onshore projects.
  4. Experience in Concept study, FEED, Design & Detail Engineering.
