Job description

  • Regularly monitor “queues” in the travel system to ensure all changes are updated and communicated to the client when necessary.
  • Ensure that the client has received the best option by providing quotations, fare comparisons and making reservations according to client’s preferred options.
  • Adhere to the client’s travel policy and maintain accuracy in issuing, reissuing and refunding of value documents to the client to ensure a positive customer experience for the client.
  • Create and maintain client profiles in the system to ensure efficient process flow.
  • Smart selling to clients such as upselling of add-ons, capitalising on business deals with suppliers, negotiating spot deals/best possible fares, promoting incentive carriers, ensuring to add value to the client.
  • Provide an accurate reconciliation between mid and back office systems: Ensuring necessary approvals are obtained before issuance of cash value documents.
  • Reporting daily transactions on time through mid-office systems, ensuring daily sales are recorded for finance to generate the necessary reports.
  • Develop business through existing clients.
  • Analyze clients’ performance against potential and report to supervisor/manager.
  • Suggest economic annual travel budget to clients as per request.
