About the Role

Airalo is seeking a Head of Business Development to join the Airalo Partnerships department. As the industry leader in B2C eSIMs, we aim to expand our leadership into B2B (business travel) and B2B2C (resellers) channels. The Head of Business Development for MENA will lead Airalo's B2B and B2B2C strategies, ensuring our presence across business travel and reseller channels.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships and team members.
  2. Work with the Growth team and partnership specialists to identify prospects across small, medium, and enterprise segments, including travel agents, tour operators, and retail stores for Airalo Partner Platform.
  3. Onboard and support new partners within the Airalo Partners community.
  4. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive mutual benefits.
  5. Increase visibility, awareness, and adoption of Airalo within partner organizations.
  6. Design and implement programs to educate businesses on eSIM adoption.
  7. Conduct market research to monitor competitors and maintain Airalo's status as a preferred provider.
  8. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute projects and opportunities.
  9. Own and track monthly, quarterly, and annual OKRs, providing regular progress reports.

Must-haves:

  1. At least 7 years of experience in corporate or channel sales in relevant markets.
  2. Experience in the travel and/or telecom industry or with corporate sales in a consumer business.
  3. Ability to build and maintain relationships with channel stakeholders.
  4. Strong storytelling skills to communicate Airalo's unique value proposition compellingly.
  5. Proficiency in sales techniques like questioning, objection handling, consultative, and solution selling.
  6. Ability to multitask effectively.
  7. Experience with sales and partnership tools such as Hubspot.
  8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.

Good to have:

  1. Familiarity with the travel or telecom industry.
  2. Experience in team building and leadership.
  3. Certificates and courses in sales and partnerships.
  4. Proficiency in additional local or regional languages.
