Job summary

ESS AE Holding in Dubai seeks a strategic leader to assess subsidiaries, define the gap to the holding vision, and deliver a unified reporting framework. You will drive KPI development, lead C-suite workshops, and shape the transformation roadmap with data-driven insights.

You will design MBR and QSR templates, establish data standards, and ensure compliance with IFRS/ESG. Arabic fluency and multinational experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Multinational experience with a track record of 5+ years within global or regional holding companies.
• Mandatory Arabic speaker.
• Experience with multi-currency reporting and diverse business sectors.
• Proven experience in 'Year 0' or 'Year 1' environments such as new department setup, merger integration, or major strategic pivots.
• High proficiency in strategy tools such as Balanced Scorecard, OKRs, Porter’s Five Forces.
• Skilled in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with building templates from scratch.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to find actionable insights.
• Professional presence and ability to challenge status quo in team brainstorming.
• Critical thinking and root cause analysis skills regarding subsidiary underperformance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive Current State assessment of all subsidiaries under the holding company to understand their existing workflows, financial health and data maturity.
• Identify the Strategic Gap between current subsidiary status and the Holding Group's vision.
• Consolidate internal strengths and external market threats to provide a high-level strategic diagnostic SWOT synthesis.
• Collaborate on creating the Holding-Level Reporting Framework ensuring comparability of diverse business units through unified group-level metrics.
• Transform broad group ambitions into measurable, actionable KPIs for subsidiary General Managers.
• Lead strategic brainstorming sessions with the C-suite to define the group’s Must-Win Battles and investment priorities.
• Design the first iterations of the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR) templates.
• Establish data-gathering standards and Single Source of Truth protocols ensuring subsidiary information accuracy and auditability.
• Map out the 12-to-24-month departmental transformation journey.
• Ensure local subsidiary performance reporting aligns with international standards IFRS, ESG, etc.
• Act as a Strategy Ambassador to subsidiary teams explaining new holding-level oversight value and gaining buy-in.
