Job Title: Corporate M&A Lawyer

Level: 5 PQE

Job Description:
Our client is a UK-headquartered law firm with a truly global presence. Furthermore, they enjoy a deep local presence in the Middle East. The role is for a 5 PQE lawyer to join the Corporate team in Dubai UAE. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious individual with solid experience looking to join a top-tier firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Advise clients on all aspects of M&A transactions including structuring, negotiation, and execution.
  2. Conduct legal due diligence and prepare reports on findings.
  3. Draft and review transactional documents including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and shareholder agreements.
  4. Manage client relationships and provide strategic advice to clients on their corporate governance and compliance obligations.
  5. Stay updated on regulatory changes and market trends affecting M&A transactions.
  6. Support junior team members through mentoring and training.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Common Law Solicitor (5 PQE) with a strong academic background and a relevant legal qualification.
  2. Previous experience or exposure to corporate M&A matters.
  3. Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus but not required.
