We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and risk-conscious Corporate Intelligence Manager to lead corporate intelligence initiatives, assess business and geopolitical risks, and provide actionable insights that support executive decision-making, organizational resilience, and long-term business growth.

The successful candidate will oversee corporate intelligence research, evaluate emerging threats and opportunities, monitor industry and competitor developments, and transform complex information into strategic recommendations. This role will work closely with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen corporate awareness, support risk-informed decisions, and protect the organization's business interests and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate intelligence strategies aligned with organizational objectives and enterprise risk management priorities.
• Conduct corporate research, business intelligence assessments, and strategic analysis to support management decision-making.
• Monitor industry developments, competitor activities, geopolitical events, regulatory changes, and emerging business risks.
• Conduct corporate due diligence, background research, and reputational assessments on potential business partners, vendors, investors, and other relevant entities.
• Identify potential threats involving fraud, conflicts of interest, financial misconduct, corporate reputation, and business relationships.
• Analyze corporate structures, ownership information, business relationships, and publicly available records to support informed business decisions.
• Prepare intelligence briefs, executive reports, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Establish corporate intelligence frameworks, research methodologies, information verification procedures, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Finance, Security, Procurement, and Business Development teams on intelligence-related matters.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and partnership decisions through corporate intelligence and due diligence research.
• Assess emerging operational, financial, regulatory, geopolitical, and reputational risks that may affect organizational performance.
• Develop early-warning indicators and monitoring processes to identify significant changes in the business environment.
• Maintain confidential intelligence records and ensure that sensitive information is handled securely and appropriately.
• Ensure intelligence gathering and analysis comply with applicable privacy laws, data protection requirements, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
• Build relationships with relevant industry experts, research providers, professional networks, and trusted information sources.
• Lead and mentor intelligence team members while promoting analytical rigor, discretion, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate intelligence, corporate investigations, business intelligence, risk management, due diligence, compliance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of corporate research, competitive intelligence, business risk assessment, and strategic analysis.
• Experience conducting corporate due diligence, reputational risk assessments, and background research using reliable and lawful information sources.
• Ability to analyze complex corporate structures, business relationships, financial information, and publicly available records.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and business ethics.
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, investigative research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex findings to senior executives.
• High standards of confidentiality, professional integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Familiarity with research databases, corporate registry records, business intelligence platforms, and analytical tools is advantageous.
• Understanding of geopolitical developments, financial crime risks, sanctions, anti-bribery requirements, and reputational risk management is a plus.
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership capabilities.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, International Relations, Security Studies, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in risk management, compliance, investigations, intelligence analysis, or corporate governance are advantageous.
• Experience advising senior management on corporate risks, strategic partnerships, complex business relationships, or high-impact decisions is an added advantage.
