Job description

Location : Abu Dhabi (Relocation provided)

Our client, a large tech-enhanced financial asset management firm, is looking for a Corporate Development & Strategy (Associate / Senior Associate) to join their team based in their office in Abu Dhabi.

This role will be particularly focused on internal strategy; projects will include (but are not limited to) researching private credit, venture and fintech market trends, formulating recommendations and reports, identifying and managing strategic partnerships, creating diligence / investment analyses, and project management roadmaps.

The Associate / Senior Associate will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer and partner with business leads / operational functions to unearth data and insights for informed decision-making, providing significant opportunity for professional development within this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze and synthesize research and data sets efficiently to produce digestible outputs and make actionable recommendations / insights for stakeholders and senior leadership, determining strategic objectives and opportunities to meet these goals (market entry strategies, business prioritization, partnerships)
  • Solutions-oriented approach in addressing unstructured ideas and situations by developing structured paths forward for senior stakeholders to consider
  • Effectively manage and prioritize across multiple projects at the same time with the ability to balance strategic / innovative focus with tactical implementation / execution
  • Manage large cross-functional projects and build consensus with team members at all levels within the organization
  • Communicate strategic priorities and execution plans across the firm via presentations, meetings, and written communication

Requirements :

  • 4-5+ years relevant work experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Corporate Development / Venture Capital / Private Equity
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, including strong writing abilities and the ability to create high-quality presentations and materials
  • Track record of identifying opportunities, building strategies, and driving change through creativity, relationship building, and focused execution
  • Passion for solving complex problems and building scalable processes, familiarity with financial statements, valuation, and financial modeling
