Job Purpose

The Corporate Communication Chief Officer is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of employee engagement activities across GDMO, including internal initiatives, communication, and rewards and recognition programs. The role involves ensuring timely communication and engagement to support GDMO's strategic vision through effective communication strategies and employee engagement initiatives. The role requires teamwork skills and adherence to relevant business policies and procedures.

Key Focus Areas and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with organizational goals, identifying key messages, target audiences, and channels.
  • Facilitate internal communication to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned, including newsletters, town halls, and fostering transparency.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, ensuring effective communication of policies, updates, and initiatives.
  • Manage rewards and recognition programs, including development, rollout, and tracking.
  • Develop onboarding programs for new recruits, collecting feedback and measuring effectiveness.
  • Establish feedback channels and foster a positive organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to align communication activities with organizational initiatives.
