Corporate Accountant – Abu Dhabi

Integral Recruitment is representing our client in Abu Dhabi, who is seeking a skilled Corporate Accountant to join their finance team. This role is suited to a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience across treasury, tax compliance, IFRS reporting, and corporate governance.

The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for managing banking relationships, ensuring compliance with UAE tax laws, and supporting the implementation of robust financial controls across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage treasury operations, including cash flow, bank reconciliations, guarantees, and working capital.
  • Oversee VAT and corporate tax filings, ensuring compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority requirements.
  • Drive proactive tax optimisation and ensure compliance across the group.
  • Act as the primary liaison with banks, auditors, and external tax advisors.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS.
  • Support the development and monitoring of internal controls, risk frameworks, and governance policies.
  • Contribute to ERP optimisation and cross-functional finance projects.
  • Provide financial analysis and support on special projects, including M&A and due diligence.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Chartered Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CMA, ICAEW, CPA or equivalent).
  • 5+ years’ experience in corporate accounting, treasury, and tax compliance (Big 4, reputable mid-tier, or corporate background preferred).
  • Must have trained in tax and enjoy working on tax compliance and advisory matters.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax laws.
  • Solid understanding of risk frameworks and corporate governance.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
