Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, performant, and scalable front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Take pride in generating code that is modular, well-documented, and follows best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
• Take ownership of front-end products, driving its development from inception to completion, and making critical decisions that impact the product's success
• Gather and prioritise requirements from all stakeholders, define user stories, and provide accurate estimates
• Work closely with the back-end development team to integrate front-end code with APIs and other services
• Continuously improve and optimise the user experience, performance, and accessibility of applications
• Stay up-to-date on emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities to incorporate them into the products
• Operate as part of a dedicated engineering team, rapidly iterating development of its collection of proprietary software systems
• Manage and execute projects from start to finish including requirements building, project management, build and deployment

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in developing complex front-end applications using React and TypeScript
• Experience writing relational database queries to support front-end applications.
• Drive and initiative to make the front-end products you create, world class
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and development best practices
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to gather and prioritiserequirements from stakeholders effectively
• Experience with version control systems (Git), automated testing frameworks, and continuousintegration and deployment CI/CD tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast paced, high growth environment.

Nice To Have

• Experience in React Native / mobile development
• Experience in design principles, including knowledge of UI/UX best practices and design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Experience in back-end API development using JavaScript and/or Python
• Experience working in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry
• Experience with quantitative trading or financial technology
• Experience working in an R&D environment

Qualifications

• Strong academics in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a top-tier university
