Reporting to the Associate Manager for Digital Content, you will be responsible for creating digital content and initiatives for the Omni-Channel Marketing team.
Scope :
You will oversee the delivery, creation, and uploading of English content across onsite platforms, apps, and all other channels, ensuring high standards. You will also oversee the implementation of our brand tone of voice across all communication platforms, including marketing activities (newsletters, social media, CRM), PR (press releases, event invitations), and homepages.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Support editing and creating localized content, managing content updates across multiple platforms within the portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to each brand's tone of voice and deliver rich, on-brand content on time and as per briefs.
- Proof all emails, communicate deadlines, and verify project completion in coordination with marketing executives.
- Proof layouts of digital channels, provide feedback, and update accordingly.
- Review homepages in the preview environment and after going live.
- Manage content on internal CMSs, publish pages, and verify published content.
- Create engaging and optimized product copy for all products and categories.
- Ability to produce approximately 200 product descriptions daily.
- Develop compelling headlines and sales copy with character, authenticity, and wit.
- Contribute creative content ideas in cross-channel meetings.
- Review website content to ensure high standards and brand consistency.
- Work with the manager to verify and update Tone of Voice documents.
- Produce industry-standard copy after researching competitors and luxury fashion content.
- Audit and update UI copy as needed.
- Continuously update and refine the Tone of Voice based on data insights.
- Manage feedback from cross-functional partners and handle multiple iterations.
- Write persuasive, SEO-optimized product descriptions to motivate purchases.
- Collaborate with external copywriters, assess content quality, and edit accordingly.
- Stay updated on e-commerce guidelines, legal, regulatory, and brand standards.
- Maintain active knowledge of retailer requirements, including word and character counts for various content types.
To succeed, you should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or Journalism (preferred).
- At least 2 years of professional experience in content development.
- Understanding of digital and print design, including video editing basics.
- Strong grasp of design principles (typography, composition, color theory, etc.).
- High attention to detail in design.
- Ability to defend your ideas and give/receive feedback.
- Self-starting attitude with good prioritization skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience in employee development and performance management.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-end digital design skills.
- Familiarity with social media content best practices (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
