Job description

Objectives:To provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Treasury function, ensure the smooth operation of the department or office by managing communications, scheduling meetings, coordinating office activities, and assisting the team in daily tasks to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Essential Duties

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the ED-Treasury, including the preparation of internal and external correspondence as needed.
  • Take initiative in drafting preliminary responses to incoming correspondence and present them to the ED-Treasury manager for review and approval.
  • Prepare meeting materials, reports, and all related documents with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Coordinate between the line manager and stakeholders requesting meetings, reviewing and prioritizing requests to ensure appropriate scheduling.
  • Manage the ED - Treasury calendar, coordinate meetings, and liaise with departmental units to arrange necessary logistical services such as meeting rooms, visitor reception, and other related requirements.
  • Proactively plan and develop office operations, implementing necessary measures to ensure the seamless and efficient functioning of the direct manager’s office.
  • Oversee the proper archiving and organization of the ED-Treasury files and documents, ensuring their availability and accessibility as needed.
  • Provide administrative support and facilitation to project teams and consultants working on initiatives affiliated with the office of ED-Treasury, as directed.
  • Deliver necessary support to the ED-Treasury and perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, in the field of Business Administration or its equivalent in a similar specialty appropriate to the job duties
  • Preferable to have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar field/position.
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken)
