Atkins Ralis are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a Villas and hotels background in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre and post contract commercial support;
2. Management of bonds, insurances, and guarantee logs;
3. Interim valuations and payment certificates;
4. Assisting in variations analysis, recommendations, and management;
5. Assisting in risk and value management and cost control functions;
6. Assisting in costs analysis project work;
7. Assisting in identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks;
8. Assisting in preparation of progress/cost reports;
9. Reporting to Managing Quantity Surveyor on all commercial issues;
10. Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations;
11. Attendance and representation at commercial meetings.

Experiences and Qualifications:

1. Measurement and quantification of facility and infrastructure or residential works;
2. Must have previous experience of FIDIC Contracts;
3. Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised University;
4. Min 3 to 7 years post contract relevant capacity in contracts and commercial management;
5. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required;
6. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills;
7. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
