Job summary

Chalhoub Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the end-to-end shipment process for inbound international and local shipments. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and compliance with shipping regulations.

The role requires 1–2 years in shipping or logistics, a solid understanding of Incoterms, and proficiency in Excel. You will work from our Dubai locations with a focus on efficient logistics operations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of import/export documentation and Incoterms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all activities related to the shipment of goods as per the incoterms and ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Update logitude to ensure stakeholders are updated on shipment status and for internal tracking.
• Compare charges with 2 forwarders for shipments if no agreed rate card.
• Follow up for PO and archive documents in logitude for Advance shipment notification creation.
• Review shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading) with clearing agent for smooth clearance.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments.
• Share HSCODE summary with clearing agent before arrival and delivery schedule after shipment readiness.
• Perform MOFAIC for UAE mainland shipments for invoices above 10,000 AED.
• Archive charges and send obligation/payable requests after delivery.
• Prepare operational reports and monitor KPIs related to shipping performance.

Role summary

What you’ll be doing

• Update logitude to ensure the stake holders are updated on the shipment status and for the internal tracking purpose.

• Compare charges with 2 forwarders for the shipments if we do not have agreed rate card.

• Follow up for PO and archive the documents in logitude for Advance shipment notification creation.

• Review shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc) with the clearing agent to ensure smooth clearance and delivery.

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies with shipments.

• HSCODE summary to be shared with the clearing agent before the arrival of the shipment and delivery schedule to be shared once the shipment is ready for delivery.

• MOFAIC to be done for the UAE mainland shipments for the invoices above 10,000 AED.

• Charges to be archived and obligation/payable request to be send once the delivery is done for the shipment.

• Prepare operational reports and monitor KPIs related to shipping performance.

What you’ll need to succeed
