Job description

  • JOB PURPOSE :
  • Ensure that all supports for crossing CICPA Gates, Etihad Rail, Municipality Fences, Private Fences, Asphalt Roads, and Environmental Protected areas are provided on time to ensure ADNOC Onshore Rigs fleets' moves operations are performed on schedule as per the Rig Move On Paper (RMOP), with 100% adherence to HSE standards.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

    • Coordinate with ADNOC Drilling to ensure all work aligns with HSE policies and procedures.
    • Interact with all stakeholders across ADNOC Onshore fields, including ADNOC Drilling Rigs Management, Geomatics, Location, and Operations Services, to manage and optimize rig move plans and performance. Support the definition of optimal rig move routes and locations for safe and efficient operations.
    • Coordinate with all assets and functions to hand over moving routes and locations.
    • Ensure proper records of rig move routes and site preparations are maintained by following up on progress.
    • Work with ADNOC Drilling management to ensure sufficient rig move resources are available on time as per RMOP through daily follow-up and continuous monitoring.
    • Coordinate and follow up on all rig move requirements among concerned parties daily.
    • Coordinate with external stakeholders to obtain permissions for rig crossings of ADNOC Onshore fleets in all fields (CICPA, Etihad Rail, Municipality, Environment Authority).
    • Conduct physical inspections with stakeholders to ensure rig move routes are ready for fleet movements.
    • Coordinate with GRD and other departments to prepare LOAs for outside authorities to approve rig crossings at CICPA gates, Etihad Railway crossings, and DOT Roads.
    • Lead incident investigations and audit rig move performance.
    • Measure crossing point coordinates and prepare survey reports.
    • Supervision :

    • Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet objectives.
    • Train and develop staff on relevant skills to enable proficiency and achievement of section goals.
    • Budgets :

    • Assist in preparing the department/section budgets and support the implementation of approved budgets and work plans.
    • Investigate and report significant variances to support performance and cost control.
    • Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures :

    • Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to support work programs aligned with company and international standards.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
    • Performance Management :

    • Contribute to achieving the department/section performance objectives in line with company frameworks.
    • Innovation and Continuous Improvement :

    • Design and implement new tools and techniques to enhance operational quality and efficiency.
    • Identify process improvements based on best practices to increase efficiency and define solutions for operational issues.
    • HSE & Sustainability :

    • Comply with ADNOC Onshore HSE procedures.
    • Report all incidents and occupational illnesses.
    • Immediately consult supervisors about unsafe practices or conditions.
    • Carry out emergency responsibilities as per roles defined in emergency plans.
    • Reports :

    • Provide inputs for section MIS and progress reports for management.

    COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :

    Internal :

  • Coordinate regularly with Engineering, Drilling, Production, General Relations, and HSE teams.
  • External :

  • Maintain regular contact with CICPA, Etihad Rail, Municipality, Environment Authority, and ADNOC Drilling.
  • QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

    Minimum Qualification :

  • Diploma in Land Surveying or equivalent certifications.
