An opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator to join the Housekeeping Department in Jumeirah Living WTCR. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Provide constant monitoring of the service standards and cleaning standards of the Housekeeping Colleagues.
Execute classroom training as well as on-the-job training and corrective coaching.
Train and develop all Housekeeping Colleagues, regularly review the training results and needs with Assistant Executive Housekeepers.
Constantly spot check Housekeeping Colleagues to maintain standards applied and assist in taking various inventories.
Follow-up on all out-of-order rooms and ensure that all equipment is well maintained and handled correctly.
Conduct inspections of corridors, service areas, pantries, staircases, and Public Area toilets to ensure proper cleaning.
Take note of in-house VIPs and arriving VIPs.
Ensure that all suites and rooms are inspected thoroughly.
Handle guest complaints in accordance with hotel policy, reporting all complaints to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and check the Logbooks and follow up on outstanding matters.
Know the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health, and safety and pass on the suggestions, comments, and recommendations of the guests to the Executive Housekeeper.
Respond to any changes in the housekeeping function as dictated by the Industry, Company, or Hotel.
