We are looking for a fresh graduate UAEN (Family B) to join our Underwriting team as a Coordinator – Underwriting. This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart your career in insurance and risk assessment while learning from a supportive and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and verifying underwriting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Verify submitted applications and paperwork, ensuring compliance with internal and external underwriting guidelines.
- Communicate with clients and brokers to obtain missing information, clarify policy terms, and address underwriting queries.
- Support the underwriting team in researching and analyzing risk assessments for informed decision-making.
- Report underwriting data and trends to senior management to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct preliminary risk evaluations, identifying potential red flags and assessing exposure.
- Coordinate underwriting activities efficiently to meet internal deadlines.
- Analyze customer profiles to recommend necessary underwriting actions.
- Document and maintain underwriting records for compliance and easy retrieval.
Quality & Excellence Management:
- Ensure adherence to underwriting policies and industry/regulatory standards.
- Present findings on underwriting performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Verify data accuracy to mitigate underwriting risks and operational errors.
Requirements:
- UAEN with Family B
- Bachelor’s Degree Finance (GPA 2.8 or above)
- Fresh graduate – no prior work experience required
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and eagerness to learn
- Good communication and organizational skills
