About the Company:

Alef Group is a pioneer in developing premier lifestyle communities, destinations, and experiences through investment and strategic joint ventures, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Coordinator - Facilities Management (Emirati)to join our growing team based in Sharjah.

Job Purpose:

The Coordinator - Facilities Management is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance of real estate properties. This role involves coordinating facility operations, managing service providers, and addressing facility-related requests to maintain high standards of upkeep. Additionally, the role requires handling customer inquiries and resolving complaints through in-person interactions, phone calls, and emails, ensuring a seamless tenant and stakeholder experience.

Key Accountabilities:

Facility Management & Maintenance:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of real estate properties, ensuring a high standard of upkeep and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related services, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, landscaping, and security.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to proactively identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Ensure all properties comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

C:

  • Manage work requests from tenants, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and service reports.
  • Assist in the procurement of facility-related services and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Support the implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs.

Budgeting & Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation and management of budgets for facility management expenses.
  • Track maintenance expenses and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Provide insights into facility operations, vendor performance, and service quality.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all facilities adhere to UAE safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct safety drills as required.
  • Monitor security measures and collaborate with security teams to maintain a safe environment.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Educational Qualification & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in facility management, real estate operations, or a related field.

Skills required:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with vendors, tenants, and internal teams
