Job summary

Progressive GE, Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead regional operations across oil & gas, EPC and related sectors. The role reports to the Founder and Board and focuses on profitability, operational excellence and strong customer engagement.

The COO will oversee manufacturing, trading and service operations across multiple countries, driving performance, capital management and project execution while engaging with major NOCs, IOCs and EPC contractors in the GCC.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience within oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, EPC, oilfield services or related sectors.
• Proven P&L responsibility at a senior executive level.
• Strong track record working with NOCs, IOCs and major EPC contractors across the GCC.
• Experience managing complex multi-country operations.
• Established industry relationships and strong commercial acumen.

• Lead manufacturing, fabrication, chemicals, trading, contracting and aftermarket service operations across multiple countries.
• Drive operational performance, profitability, working capital management and project execution.
• Act as the senior executive interface with NOCs, IOCs, EPC contractors and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead tendering, pre-qualification, vendor registration and technical audit activities.
• Manage strategic OEM, agency and distribution partner relationships.
• Build, develop and lead high-performing regional teams.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Work Schedule: Typically 5.5-day working week - with frequent regional travel required

Estimated Salary: AED 45 - 50K pm total cash package (this includes basic salary, housing and transport allowances) + Family Benefits: Medical Insurance, Visa, Annual Return Flights only + Bonus (performance related and at company discretion)

About the Company

Our client is a well-established, privately owned industrial group operating across the GCC and North Africa. The business manufactures, supplies and services process equipment, rotating equipment, specialty chemicals and industrial solutions for the oil & gas and energy sectors. Its customer base includes National Oil Companies (NOCs), International Oil Companies (IOCs), EPC contractors and leading oilfield services providers.

The Role
