Job summary

Progressive, a well-established industrial group operating across the GCC, seeks a Chief Operating Officer in Abu Dhabi to lead operations and commercial activities for the group.

Reporting to the Founder and Board, the COO will drive profitability, operational excellence and strong customer engagement across regional footprint, coordinating multi-country operations and stakeholder relationships with NOCs/IOCs and EPC contractors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, EPC or related sectors.
• Proven P&L responsibility at a senior executive level.
• Strong track record working with NOCs, IOCs and major EPC contractors across the GCC.
• Experience managing complex multi-country operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing, fabrication, chemicals, trading, contracting and aftermarket service operations across multiple countries.
• Drive operational performance, profitability, working capital management and project execution.
• Act as the senior executive interface with NOCs, IOCs, EPC contractors and key industry stakeholders.
• Lead tendering, pre-qualification, vendor registration and technical audit activities.
• Manage strategic OEM, agency and distribution partner relationships.
• Build, develop and lead high-performing regional teams.

About the Company

Our client is a well-established, privately owned industrial group operating across the GCC and North Africa. The business manufactures, supplies and services process equipment, rotating equipment, specialty chemicals and industrial solutions for the oil & gas and energy sectors. Its customer base includes National Oil Companies (NOCs), International Oil Companies (IOCs), EPC contractors and leading oilfield services providers.

The Role
