Job summary

Salt in Dubai is seeking a talented Copy Editor to create, edit, and refine high-quality content for marketing, broadcasting, publications, and other channels. The role requires strong editorial judgment, copywriting skills, and the ability to translate market insights into compelling content that drives audiences to act.

You will collaborate across Marketing, Events, Sales, Design, and Digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Media, Public Relations or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in copywriting, copy editing, journalism, content marketing, publishing, media, or similar role.
• Experience producing content for marketing, business, media, events, exhibitions, conferences, or industry publications.
• Experience writing for editorial and commercial purposes.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating published articles, marketing campaigns, digital content, or other relevant written work.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit, and proofread market-oriented articles for use across broadcasting, publications, websites, newsletters, and digital platforms.
• Develop compelling copy and editorial content aligned with the company's brand, target markets, and communication objectives.
• Create content for marketing materials, including brochures, campaigns, advertisements, email communications, social media, websites, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Translate complex market, industry, and business information into clear, engaging content.
• Write persuasive copy with clear calls-to-action designed to drive specific audience behaviours such as registrations, attendance, enquiries, engagement, downloads, or purchases.
• Edit and refine content produced by internal teams, contributors, and external writers.
