Job summary

Hire Rightt - Executive Search & HR Advisory in Dubai, UAE is seeking a skilled Copy Editor to review, edit, and proofread articles, website content, and marketing materials to ensure clarity, correctness, and alignment with our brand voice. You will work closely with writers, designers, and marketers, manage multiple assignments to tight deadlines, and maintain editorial standards across all channels.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in English or related field and 2–5 years of editing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in copy editing, proofreading, content writing or journalism.
• Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Good research and fact-checking abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, CMS platforms and editing tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Edit and proofread articles, website content, marketing materials, reports, social media content, and other written materials.
• Prepare market oriented articles for broadcasting or publications and create content for marketing materials.
• Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax and formatting errors.
• Work closely with writers, content creators, graphic designers, designers and marketing teams.
• Ensure content follows company style guides and editorial standards.
• Manage multiple editing assignments while meeting deadlines.
