General Summary
To fulfill business objectives of supply chain management and to provide a high level of service to plant operations/production while maintaining optimum inventory of warehouse stock material.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement materials requirement planning and forecast process for strategic material, critical, major spares, and consumables to sustain continuous production.
- Maintain stock at an economically acceptable optimum level by analyzing historical usages, lead times, spare parts interchangeability, and usage patterns.
- Analyze spare parts usage and recommend changes to MRP data; control material requirement planning; identify interchangeable spare parts and duplicate materials.
- Forecast material requirements based on MRP run in ERP system and recommend inventory level adjustments based on supply/demand analysis; analyze inventory ROP/MAX levels (safety stock).
- Monitor, review, and revise long lead-time items to sustain optimized inventory levels.
- Replenish stock by generating PRs, monitor critical & shutdown PRs, and follow up with procurement on overdue purchase orders.
- Reduce inventory levels while maintaining high customer service; decrease non-moving inventory value.
- Perform technical evaluations for PRs, analyze requests for specification changes or replacements, obtain end-user approval, and enrich master data.
- Develop and improve MRP processes and ERP system usage.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental policies.

- Assist section head/supervisors with special tasks.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Strong knowledge of warehousing, supply chain management, and SAP; basic Excel skills.
- Understanding of logistics control and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and MIS reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business/Management.

Professional Experience (Must Haves)
Minimum 5 years in warehousing with extensive experience in industrial inventory management and computerized inventory control systems.
