We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at a project site, to be based at Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a Project Site Based role.

Responsibilities

  • Review of contracts, cooperation agreements, term sheets, partnership agreements (consortiums, JVs), exclusivity agreements, MOUs, and NDAs from the clients and partners.
  • Provide summaries of major provisions in the contracts.
  • Drafting particular terms and conditions specific to each Project which include flow down provisions from prime contract and agreed deviations with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Review and prepare agreements such as NDAs, MOUs, and pre-tender agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Assist in the reviewing & negotiating of deviations raised by the bidders on subcontracts and POs.
  • Assist in preparation, reviewing and negotiation of claims.
  • Liaise with legal department to obtain legal opinions, reviews, power of attorneys, parent company guarantees, code of conduct and other corporate legal documents.
  • Assist the legal department on the ongoing cases.
  • Hands on skills in using latest MS office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, quantity surveying or engineering.
  • Master’s degree in construction law is beneficial.

Years of Experience:

  • 8+ years in UAE or GCC in contracts and subcontracts administration
  • Preferably from EPC/Consultancies Multinational & Renowned Companies.
