Job summary

Archirodon Group N.V. in the United Arab Emirates invites an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contractual aspects on a major UAE EPC project.

You will supervise contract compliance, manage correspondence, and liaise with Project Management, Legal & Contracts, and external parties. The role demands deep experience in contracts across large-scale projects, especially Oil & Gas, with excellent English communication and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 15 years’ experience, with at least 10 years as a Contract Manager for large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience on Oil & Gas projects.
• In-depth contractual knowledge across the full contract lifecycle (review, correspondence, claims, dispute resolution).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with project contracts; advise Project Manager.
• Prepare contractual correspondence and legal documents related to project execution.
• Ensure compliance with obligations toward the Client during execution and report to Project Manager.
• Identify contractual and legal matters and coordinate with Contracts Manager as needed.
• Refer deviations from standard documents to Project Manager.
• Prepare contracts and other documents with Third Parties based on templates.
• Review supplier/subcontractor proposals and respond from a contractual perspective.
• Analyze and manage conflicts between the company, Client, and Third Parties; propose solutions.
• Coordinate litigation/arbitration input with Legal & Contracts Dept and regional teams.

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Contracts Manager to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our projects in UAE.

Job Description

• Monitor, supervise and ensure compliance with the construction and other related contracts of the project and advices to the Project Manager accordingly
• Prepare and handle all contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to the Project execution and the construction contract
• Ensure compliance to contractual obligations towards the Client during project execution and reports to the Project Manager
• Monitor and identify all contractual and law related matters occurring at project level and refers same to the Project Manager and, if required, to the Contracts Manager for assistance or further processing
• Refer any deviation from standard forms of documents, agreements or contracts to the Project Manager.
• Prepare specific Contracts and other legal documents with Third Parties based on standard templates.
• Review proposals from suppliers/subcontractors and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications from contractual point of view
• Analyze and manage business conflicts between the company and the Client or any Third Party and submits proposals to Project Manager
• In coordination with the Project Manager and Legal & Contracts Dept collects and advances to the regional level all critical input related to specific litigation or arbitration (initiated or threatened) or related to extrajudicial settlements and further liaises and coordinates for the handling of the matter

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quantity surveying or construction law
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience, out of which at least ten (10) years’ as a Contract Manager for large-scale, complex projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• In depth contractual knowledge.
• Full spectrum of contracts management experience including document review, contractual correspondence, claims, dispute resolution etc.
• Excellent command (written and oral) of the English language.
