Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the effective management of contracts for various construction projects, safeguarding our interests and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, an eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts for construction projects, ensuring they meet legal and company standards.
2. Review and analyze contract terms and conditions to mitigate risks and enhance opportunities.
3. Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project timelines.
4. Monitor contract performance and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
5. Provide advice and guidance on contractual obligations, disputes, and potential areas of risk.
6. Lead negotiations with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
7. Prepare and maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and documentation related to contract administration.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management within the construction industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction law and contract terminology.
4. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
