Location: Office-based, with occasional site visits (Abu Dhabi, Musaffah)

Role Overview: We're looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Engineer to support our subcontracting operations across large-scale projects. In this role, you’ll ensure contract compliance, assist in negotiations, and maintain thorough documentation across all contract phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and negotiating contract terms and amendments
  • Recommend contracting strategies and compensation methods
  • Coordinate with departments and bidders throughout the tender process
  • Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids
  • Prepare award recommendations and contract documents
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure proper documentation (bank guarantees, insurance, claims, etc.)
  • Maintain detailed records and status reports of contract-related activities
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and HSE standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in subcontracting within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Familiarity with contract management software and procurement processes
  • Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, legal compliance, and cost tracking
  • Relevant certifications (CPCM, PMP) are a plus
