Job Purpose
The Contract Services Manager will be the single point of contact for contract handling related to Wynn Al Marjan Island outsourced service contracts.
Essential Duties
- Review and draft a wide range of contract documents such as Amendments, Statements of Work, and Schedules, including analysis of contract financial documents and existing terms and conditions.
- Understand both strategic and operational goals and translate them into effective contracting practices.
- Proactively assess critical contract obligations, provisions, gaps, and risk areas; advise on contract revisions to better meet client needs.
- Prioritize and work independently with account teams and clients; mentor other contracting professionals.
- Familiarity with outsourcing services contracting practices and standards.
- Assist team leads with proposals, ensuring alignment with existing contracts and maximizing benefits from new business.
- Negotiate and document additional business opportunities within the framework of complex outsourcing service contracts.
- Assist Legal Counsel in providing contracts reviewed and drafted with legal input to user departments and service providers.
- Gather feedback, collate comments, and provide legal-related information to Legal Counsel for advice.
- Disseminate Legal Counsel's advice to facilitate contract negotiation and conclusion, ensuring legal and commercial accuracy.
- Ensure the return of all original contracts to Legal and Contract Services for storage and retention.
- Maintain archives of all contracts and legal documents in both hard and soft copies.
Education
- Advanced Degree or Bachelor's degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- 9+ years of relevant experience in construction, maintenance, projects, outsourcing, services engagement, and contract management.
- Strong understanding of global negotiation, contracting issues, regulations, and terms and conditions.
- Successfully managed at least 3-5 large services contracts or outsourcing deals.
- Experience in implementing strategic contract management tools and processes with large client and internal teams.
- Business and customer-oriented team player capable of forming alliances across global boundaries.
- Proven program management skills and leadership capabilities.
Skills / Knowledge
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with effective communication.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Ironclad is an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Management, Negotiation, and Procurement.
- Knowledge of contract issues affecting regional or global projects.
- Expertise in the outsourcing industry.
- Ability to handle high volume of work, short deadlines, and complex governance structures.
