Job summary

Tanqeeb in the UAE is seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager to lead all contractual matters with clients and consultants. You will manage notices, risk assessments, and EOT processes while safeguarding the company’s contractual interests.

This role requires strong negotiation, an eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate with project teams, legal, and suppliers. You will supervise documentation and support arbitration when required.

Qualifications

• Experience handling client/public sector contracts.
• Ability to supervise documentation for sub-contractors.
• Support project teams in client and sub-contractor communications.
• Track claim triggers and prepare basis for claims.
• Coordinate with legal teams on issues.
• Audit project sites for compliance.
• Draft and secure contract terms aligned with client contracts.

Responsibilities

• Handle all contractual matters, issue and respond to notices.
• Meet with Clients/Consultants on contractual matters.
• Identify contract risks and propose mitigation.
• Raise EOT requests (Interim & Final).
• Negotiate with Clients/Consultants to prevent LD.
• Create opportunities to raise claims.
• Raise cost claims for delays (Interim & Final).
• Raise variation claims (Interim & Final).
• Provide arbitration support.
• MIS on claims status.

Job description

With Clients & Consultants

1. Handling all contractual matters including issue of notices and replying to notices of client/consultant.

2. Meetings and discussion with Clients / Consultants on all contractual matters.

3. Identify the potential risk in the contract and propose the mitigation plan to the management.

4. Raising EOT request (Interim & Final)

5. Negotiation with Clients/Consultants and Ensuring no LD.

6. Creating/Finding Opportunity to raise claims.

7. Raising all types of Cost Claims for the delay (Interim & Final)

8. Raising Variation claims (Interim & Final)

9. Arbitration support.

10. MIS on Claims status.

With Suppliers & Subcontractors

1. Drafting Conditions of Contract in line with or client’s contract by way of securing Company interest in a way that the suppliers & subcontractors should not come with the claims on us.

2. Administration of SUPPLIERS & SUBCONTRACOTRS orders.

3. Issue notices/contractual letters when their performance is not in line with our contract.

4. Evaluate the claims submitted by Suppliers & Subcontractors in a fair manner and submit the proposal to the head of projects / reporting person.

5. Support the project team and making them familiarize with Contracts Management

Desired Candidate Profile

• Contract management-client (Public sector) and sub contractors

• Responsible for supervising the documentation work (sub-contractors side)

• Support the project teams for communication with the client and sub-contractors as well

• Support the project teams in tracking the claim triggers

• Prepare the basic foundation for the claims

• Responsible for supporting the project teams and the legal teams for any legal issues

• Responsible for auditing the project sites
