Job summary

Avanta Works in the United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled Chemical Engineer to design, develop and implement chemical processes within our facilities in Haur-Fakkan. This contract role includes accommodation provided for the duration.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience, with strong data analysis, process optimization, and safety procedure knowledge. English fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and systems.
• Ability to analyze data and recommend improvements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and experiments to develop new chemical processes
• Design and maintain chemical equipment and systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Develop safety procedures for handling chemicals and managing waste
• Collaborate with other engineers, scientists, and technicians to ensure successful project completion
• Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Stay updated on industry advancements and regulations related to chemical engineering
