Job summary

A leading technology commercialization firm in Abu Dhabi seeks a professional to support high-impact technology deals. This role involves structuring agreements, conducting legal due diligence, and assisting with contract negotiations. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree and extensive experience in commercial contracts, particularly in tech. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in tech or innovation-driven industries.
  • Strong understanding of IP, licensing, and technology transfer in commercial contexts.
  • Experience supporting BD or sales teams in contract negotiations.

About the role

You’ll be the strategic partner within the Business team, supporting high-impact technology deals and partnerships. You’ll help structure deals, assess legal risks, and drive agreements for advanced technology offerings. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with BD leads to structure and negotiate commercial agreements with tech vendors, clients, and strategic partners
  • Conduct legal due diligence for new technologies, partnerships, and commercialisation opportunities
  • Draft and review contracts including licensing, reseller, distribution, and services agreements
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks in go-to-market strategies and commercial models
  • Support pricing, revenue recognition, and deal structuring from a deal perspective
  • Maintain contract templates and playbooks tailored for BD use cases
  • Track key contract milestones, obligations, and renewal cycles
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Finance, Product, Compliance) to align deal terms with business goals
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts, preferably in tech or innovation-driven industries
  • Strong understanding of IP, licensing, and technology transfer in commercial contexts
  • Experience supporting BD or sales teams in contract negotiations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative and Works seamlessly across BD, Legal, and Product teams
