Job description

The Contract Administrator supports the effective management and administration of project contracts from pre-award to close-out. This role ensures contractual compliance, supports claims management, coordinates documentation, and acts as a bridge between project, legal, and commercial teams.

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Maintain updated records of all contract-related documents including addendums, correspondences, and approvals.
• Monitor contract performance and support the resolution of any disputes, claims, or variations.
• Support the preparation and submission of extension of time (EOT), variations, and contractual notices.
• Coordinate with project teams, QS, procurement, and legal departments for alignment on contractual obligations.
• Track deliverables, milestones, and payment schedules to ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Assist in contract close-out procedures and documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and version control for all contract-related records.
• Prepare reports and summaries as required by management or clients.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in contract administration within the civil construction industry in the UAE or GCC.
• Good understanding of FIDIC and other standard forms of contracts.
• Strong documentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with contract management software/tools.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused.
