The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of continental cooking experience, strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene, and the ability to work with standard recipes and menus while ensuring waste

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Continental Cook in industrial catering or remote site catering.
• Experience in high-volume food production.
• Strong knowledge of continental cuisine and recipes.
• Understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Experience in inventory control and stock rotation.
• Middle East experience (UAE preferred).
• Food safety certificate preferred.

We are looking for a skilled Continental Cook to prepare and present high-quality continental cuisine in a high-volume catering environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or remote site catering, ensuring consistent food quality, hygiene, and timely meal service while complying with company and client standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes in accordance with approved menus and recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Ensure timely preparation and service of meals in a high-volume catering environment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Monitor proper storage, handling, and stock rotation of food items.
• Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
• Support menu execution and prepare special meals as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure all equipment is used safely.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Continental Cook in industrial catering, hospitality, or remote site catering.
• Proven experience in high volume food production.
• Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, including breakfast, soups, sauces, grills, roasts, pasta, and international dishes.
• Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Experience in inventory control, stock rotation, and minimizing food wastage.
• Middle East experience (UAE preferred).
• Previous onshore / remote site catering experience is an advantage.
• Valid Food Safety Certificate preferred.
