Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and proactive Content Creator to develop compelling, high-quality social media content that supports both student recruitment and community engagement across our group of K–12 schools (Bridge Education) . Reporting directly to the Social Media Manager, this role plays a key part in our digital storytelling efforts—capturing the life, values, and achievements of our school communities through strategic, platform-specific content.
You will work closely with marketing, admissions, and academic teams, and will contribute to a unified content calendar that supports both organic and paid campaigns, with a focus on authenticity, engagement, and alignment with brand tone.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original, on-brand social media content—including short-form videos, reels, carousels, photo stories, and behind-the-scenes visuals.
- Execute engaging content across key enrolment periods, events, and milestones, working from the content calendar set by the Social Media Manager.
- Collaborate with school-based teams to gather material that highlights student experiences, staff excellence, learning environments, and community impact.
- Support live content capture during key events such as open days, performances, and sports tournaments.
- Edit and finalise multimedia content for cross-platform publishing (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) in line with brand guidelines.
- Contribute creative ideas to campaign planning sessions and team meetings, ensuring content remains fresh, timely, and relevant.
- Track engagement and performance metrics under the guidance of the Social Media Manager and adapt content production accordingly.
- Stay current with trends in content formats, platform innovations, and social storytelling techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, or social media—ideally within education, youth-focused, or family-centric sectors.
- Strong video editing and design capabilities using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, InShot, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to create content that aligns with strategic goals and drives measurable engagement or conversions.
- Solid understanding of the visual and messaging demands of each social platform.
- Ability to manage multiple content streams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with content practices when working with images or videos of students.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a school, education group, or youth-focused organisation.
- Photography and on-site event videography skills.
- Experience contributing content to paid or lead generation campaigns in partnership with marketing teams.
