We are seeking a Consulting Director, or Principal Consultant, to join our growing Industrial Decarbonisation team in the UAE. This is a unique opportunity to lead transformative projects across the Middle East, working with governments, industrial clusters, and private sector clients on cutting‑edge technologies such as hydrogen, CCUS, and electrification.

What You’ll Do

As a Consulting Director/Principal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in both winning and delivering strategic consultancy projects. Your work will span:

• Business Strategy, Policy & Roadmaps: Advising clients on decarbonisation pathways and market positioning.
• Technoeconomic Analysis: Evaluating the feasibility and impact of emerging technologies.
• Client Engagement: Acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients.
• Project Leadership: Managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality outputs on time and within budget.
• Business Development: Identifying opportunities, leading proposal development, and expanding our client base across the region.
• Thought Leadership: Contributing to market strategy and building ERM’s reputation in the industrial decarbonisation space.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a driven and strategic thinker with:

• A degree in a relevant field (Master’s or higher preferred).
• Experience in management consulting, energy transition, or industrial decarbonisation.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects and build strong client relationships.
• Expertise in one or more decarbonisation pathways (e.g., CCUS, electrification, hydrogen, heat networks).
• Strong commercial acumen and a passion for sustainability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas for diverse audiences.
• Experience mentoring or line managing junior staff is a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or other regional languages are a bonus.
