Job summary

Visa is seeking a capable consultant in Dubai to support structuring consulting projects, conduct data analysis using Visa and external data, and perform market research to understand client needs across focus markets.

You will work closely with the engagement team manager and client representative to deliver projects, support researchers and senior staff in developing insights, and contribute to client training and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA or postgraduate studies are a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in consulting/financial services/payments industry would be beneficial.
• Experience in consulting from strategy houses, Big 4, or in-house strategy is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong reporting and presentation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with ability to analyze business/trends using numerical methods.

Responsibilities

• Support in structuring consulting projects.

Job description

• Support in structuring consulting projects
• Conduct data analysis using Visa and external data to understand client needs across the focus markets
• Conduct benchmarking and market research as required
• Work closely with the engagement team manager and client representative to deliver the projects
• Support in project work stream on a day-to-day basis including conducting research and data analysis and synthesizing them to develop insights and recommendations
• Support Directors / Senior Directors on developing hypotheses contribute to conclusions and assist other senior team members in presenting back to the client
• Support in developing and delivering client training programs and impart best practices knowledge sharing to Visa clients
• Support knowledge sharing with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
• Support the team in developing and bringing the Visa Consulting & Analytics proposition in the market
• Manage the preparation of proposals for new client work
• Support the development of Visa Consulting & Analytics thought leadership material
• Support business development initiatives by assisting in developing our product offerings and marketing to external and internal clients
• Carrying out other ad hoc support support other functions and teams within Visa and work on internal projects

Qualifications :

• A recognized undergraduate degree qualification
• MBA or Post Graduate studies is a plus
• Experience/ skills required:
• 1-3 years of experience in consulting/ financial services/ payments industry
• Consulting experience gained within either a strategy house a Big 4 firm or an in-house strategy function of a financial institution is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive reporting and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• An ability to collect and utilize business and industry trend information and to analyze this information effectively by applying numerical and strategic analysis techniques
• Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to develop client presentations
