Job Description

Milliman's Dubai Health Practice is seeking a qualified health actuary with more than 8 years of experience for a client-facing role.

Educational Requirements
  • An undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Must be a qualified actuary, registered as a Fellow of a recognized global actuarial body.
  • Outstanding academic record.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience and Skill Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of actuarial experience, primarily in health-related work.
  • Strong math aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.
  • Knowledge of health system-specific actuarial concepts such as utilization vs. cost, clinical coding, Diagnosis-Related Groups, and value-based healthcare.
  • Client-facing experience, including drafting and reviewing formal actuarial reports and presenting technical content to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the region.
