Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret various diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
  • Provide timely and clear communication of imaging results to referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions to contribute radiological insights into patient management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality assurance protocols within the radiology department.
  • Mentor and oversee the work of junior radiologists and radiology staff.
  • Engage in ongoing education to stay updated with advancements in the field of radiology.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical college.
  • Board Certification in Radiology is required.
  • A current medical license to practice in the relevant state.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a radiology practice, with experience in a consultant role preferred.
  • Expertise in various imaging techniques and proficiency in interpreting diagnostic images.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with healthcare professionals and patients.
