Job summary

Astra ProMed in Dubai seeks an experienced consultant radiation oncologist to join a leading healthcare facility. You will provide comprehensive radiation oncology care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality cancer treatment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing patients, creating radiotherapy plans, and participating in tumor boards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in radiation oncology or a relevant specialty.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at consultant level.
• Strong knowledge of modern radiation oncology techniques and treatment protocols.

• Develop and oversee individualized radiotherapy plans, including external beam radiotherapy and other modalities.
• Evaluate treatment options in collaboration with medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and pathologists.

• Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and provide follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
