The Consultant Breast Radiologist will participate in multidisciplinary breast meetings and tumor boards, contributing specialist radiological expertise to clinical decision-making and patient management. The position requires effective communication of imaging findings and recommendations to referring physicians and, where appropriate, patients. Close collaboration with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists is central to coordinated breast care.
Candidates must meet the applicable Dubai Health Authority and UAE Unified Healthcare Professional Qualification Requirements for the relevant Consultant title. This includes the required verification of professional qualifications and experience and, where applicable, assessment and primary-source verification requirements. DHA registration or eligibility must be appropriately activated into a professional license by the hiring facility before clinical practice begins.
The consultant will participate in quality assurance, peer review, clinical audit, and continuous improvement activities within the radiology service. The role also includes supporting breast imaging protocols and clinical pathways, maintaining patient safety and confidentiality standards, and providing clinical guidance to junior radiologists and radiology staff where required.
