Job summary

The role requires English fluency, strong communication, and leadership, with residency in Psychiatry and forensic training as assets. A detailed, patient-centered approach and adherence to medical laws are essential.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized university.
• Completion of Residency in Psychiatry and Fellowship in Forensic.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry (e.g., MRCPsych, ABPN, or equivalent).
• Valid DOH License or eligibility to obtain one under Abu Dhabi Department of Health.
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients, take histories, address concerns, and answer questions.
• Diagnose and treat injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and explain results.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventative care, and lifestyle changes.
• Update charts to reflect findings and treatments.

• Complying with medical laws (for example, HIPAA).

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Completion of Residency in Psychiatry and Fellowship/Subspecialty Training in Forensic.
• Board Certification in Psychiatry (e.g., MRCPsych, ABPN, CCT UK or equivalent).
• Valid DOH License or eligibility to obtain one under the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience post-specialization in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in trauma‑informed care, developmental psychiatry, and psychopharmacology.
• Experience working in culturally diverse environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
