Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

About The Role

We are currently seeking a Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to join our team in Al Ain. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to individuals with physical disabilities or impairments. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and manage patients' progress towards optimal physical functionality and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and treat patients with various physical disabilities or impairments.
2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' medical history, symptoms, and goals.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
4. Conduct evaluations and follow-up assessments to monitor patient progress.
5. Educate patients and families about treatment methods and techniques.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient care activities.
7. Stay current with developments in physical medicine and rehabilitation through continuous education and training.

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or equivalent in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical experience in the field.
• Experience managing a wide range of physical disabilities or impairments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
