Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Pediatric Neurology to provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric neurology, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities :

1. Conduct physical examinations and diagnose and treat neurological disorders in pediatric patients
2. Develop treatment plans and manage patient care
3. Provide consultations and referrals to other specialists as needed
4. Educate patients and their families on medical conditions and treatment options
5. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
7. Stay up-to-date with advances in pediatric neurology and incorporate new treatments and technologies into practice
8. Participate in research projects and contribute to academic discussions within the field
9. Train and supervise junior staff members, including residents and fellows

Requirements :

1. Medical degree from an accredited institution
2. Board certification in Pediatric Neurology
3. Substantial experience in pediatric neurology, with a minimum of 5 years as a practicing physician
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Commitment to providing quality care and improving patient outcomes
6. Ability to work well in a team environment
7. Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
8. Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
9. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
10. Candidate must possess Western-style training.
