Job summary

M42 Ltd. is seeking a Pediatric Neurology Consultant to lead clinical care for children with complex neurological disorders in Abu Dhabi. You will diagnose, treat, and coordinate multidisciplinary care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role requires fellowship training, board certification, and a track record of leadership in pediatric neurology, with DOH Abu Dhabi licensure eligibility. You will mentor staff and contribute to patient safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Pediatrics followed by fellowship in Pediatric Neurology.
• Board Certification in Pediatric Neurology (Arab, American, Canadian, European, or equivalent).
• Eligible for Consultant licensure with the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum 5 years of post-training experience at Consultant level preferred.
• Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological disorders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological disorders including epilepsy, developmental delays, and neuromuscular diseases.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and formulate treatment plans.
• Interpret EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and lab results.
• Provide consults to pediatricians, neonatologists, and intensivists.
• Lead multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Support quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety.
• Mentor medical staff and trainees; maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, developmental delays, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, headaches, and neurogenetic conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret and utilize diagnostic investigations such as EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and laboratory studies.
• Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide consultation services to pediatricians, neonatologists, intensivists, and other specialists.
• Participate in the care of patients with complex neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and care planning.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and patient safety programs.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, and professional development activities for medical staff and trainees.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency training in Pediatrics and fellowship/specialist training in Pediatric Neurology.
• Board Certification or equivalent recognized qualification in Pediatric Neurology (e.g., Arab Board, American Board, Canadian Board, CCT, CCST, European Board, or equivalent).
• Eligible for Consultant licensure with the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-board/fellowship experience at Consultant level preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing a broad spectrum of pediatric neurological disorders.
• Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
