About The Role

As a Consultant Pediatric Neurology, you will be dedicated to providing high-quality medical care for patients with neurological disorders and promoting the wellbeing of children with neurological conditions. You will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including brain tumors, seizures, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and diagnose neurological disorders in children
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EEG and MRI, to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments for patients
  • Monitor and track patients progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
  • Provide guidance and support to families regarding their child's condition and treatment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric neurology through continuing education and research
  • Participate in lectures and educational programs for medical students, residents, and nursing staff.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Completed residency training in pediatrics and fellowship in pediatric neurology
  • Board certification in Pediatrics and Neurology
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in pediatric neurology
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be Western-trained
