We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Consultant Pediatric Intensive Care Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care to critically ill children in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Your leadership and expertise will play a vital role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall quality of care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments, diagnostics, and management of critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team.
  • Delivering advanced life support and essential critical care interventions.
  • Communicating effectively with families about their child's condition, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Participating in training, mentorship, and educational programs for healthcare staff and medical trainees.
  • Engaging in quality improvement projects and contributing to clinical research initiatives in pediatric critical care.
  • Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards in patient care.
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a pediatrics residency and fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
  • Board certification in Pediatric Critical Care is mandatory.
  • A current and valid medical license for practice in the state.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of pediatric critical care procedures and protocols.
  • Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with families and healthcare teams.
