• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine or equivalent specialization.
• 8-10 years of post-specialization experience including consultant-level practice.
• Eligibility for DOH or HAAD consultant licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency assessment and management for pediatric patients with acute medical, surgical, and trauma conditions.
• Lead pediatric resuscitation efforts including airway management and life-saving interventions.
• Perform emergency procedures such as lumbar puncture, fracture reduction, wound repair, and procedural sedation.
• Manage critical cases including respiratory distress, seizures, infections, and allergic reactions.
• Coordinate care with pediatric specialists, surgeons, and intensive care teams.
• Ensure safe patient flow and efficient emergency department operations.
• Contribute to development of clinical guidelines, pathways, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in clinical governance activities, audits, and case reviews.
• Mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing clear and compassionate guidance.
• Engage in teaching, research, and professional development programs.
