Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Pediatric Cardiologist.
  • Valid medical license to practice.
  • Experience in performing pediatric echocardiography and cardiac catheterization.
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and ECGs.
  • Conduct pre and postoperative evaluations.
  • Provide interventional procedures when needed.

Job description

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Cardiologist to join our healthcare team in the UAE. The Pediatric Cardiologist will diagnose treat and manage congenital or acquired heart conditions in infants children and adolescents. The role demands collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the provision of specialized highquality cardiac care for pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in pediatric patients including heart defects arrhythmias and cardiomyopathies.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms electrocardiograms (ECGs) cardiac MRIs and stress tests.
  • Conduct pre and postoperative evaluations for pediatric patients requiring cardiac surgery and collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons.
  • Provide interventional procedures such as catheterization balloon angioplasty and stenting when needed.
  • Monitor and manage pediatric patients with chronic cardiac conditions ensuring longterm followup care.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals including pediatricians neonatologists and nurses to ensure coordinated care.
  • Counsel families and caregivers on treatment options potential risks and posttreatment care offering guidance and support.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
  • Provide emergency care and consultation for critical pediatric cardiac cases.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors residents and medical students in pediatric cardiology.
  • Stay updated on advances in pediatric cardiology and incorporate evidencebased practices into care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics and subspecialty or Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience working as a Pediatric Cardiologist.
  • Valid medical license to practice
  • Experience in performing pediatric echocardiography cardiac catheterization and managing critical pediatric cardiac patients.
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decisionmaking skills in pediatric cardiology.
  • Expertise in pediatric cardiac imaging and interventional procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with children families and medical staff.
